Job summary

A leading architecture consultancy in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant / Building Surveyor to handle various consultancy projects. You will report to the Senior Director and be responsible for managing projects from design to completion, liaising with clients, and monitoring contractors' activities. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Building Surveying or Architectural Studies, along with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience and AutoCAD knowledge. Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese are crucial.

• Able to work independently and meet tight project schedules.
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Report to Senior Director in handling alteration, refurbishment, maintenance, enhancement, and condition survey consultancy projects.
• Liaise with clients/property owner representatives in respect of consultancy projects.
• Responsible for end-to-end project management, from design tasks and preparing statutory submissions / tender documents.
• Monitor contractors' activities, conduct site inspections, and contract administration.
• Any other duties assigned by the Directors.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Building Surveying or Architectural Studies
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Able to work independently and meet tight project schedules.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
