Job summary

New World Development Company Limited is seeking an experienced Building Services Operations Engineer to lead a team in operating and maintaining complex building services systems for quality, safety, and reliability. The role includes overseeing tenant works, providing technical guidance for alterations, and ensuring optimal performance and resource use.

Candidates should have a degree in Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and at least six years in O&M within property

Qualifications

• 6 years+ experience in operation and maintenance in property management or development company, with 4 years at supervisory level.
• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility and drive.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good PC skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical staff to carry out operation, maintenance and works for building services systems in an efficient reliable and safe manner ensuring that the required quality standards are achieved
• Provide technical support with respect to building services systems including tenant fitting out, reinstatement, minor alteration and modification works and give technical advices
• Carry out regular audit of conditions of existing building services systems and recommend and implement works to ensure that the required performance and quality standards are achieved
• Assist to perform regular review and give recommendation of maintenance procedures to ensure that systems are being effectively maintained with optimum resource
• Support management in arranging procurement, managing contracts, projects/works, activities, and related issues. Assist in compiling and managing the budget
• Handle technical issues and works
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years' experience in operation and maintenance in property management or development company with 4 years at supervisory level
• Degree holder in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Good PC skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
