Job summary

ManpowerGroup Greater China Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor in retail banking to oversee daily teller activities, cash management, and counter services in line with bank policies.

You will lead frontline tellers, monitor risk controls, ensure KYC/AML compliance, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to maintain audit readiness and high service standards. Proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail banking operations experience.
• Hands-on background as senior teller or operations checker.
• Solid understanding of cash handling and counter services.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong banking regulations and AML/KYC compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve daily teller transactions in line with bank policies.
• Coach and supervise frontline tellers to maintain service standards.
• Monitor cash limits, vault cash, and prevent fraud while ensuring controls.
• Ensure branch operations meet KYC/AML guidelines and internal audits.
• Handle complex customer queries and escalations at the counter.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to streamline daily operations and audit readiness.
