Job summary

A leading banking institution in Hong Kong is seeking a Branch Operation and Administration Manager. This role requires overseeing branch operations to ensure quality service delivery while optimizing workflow and achieving business targets. Candidates should have a degree, 5 years of banking experience including management, and strong organizational skills. Communication in both English and Chinese is essential. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant banking experience with at least 1 year in management.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations and regulations.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch operation team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations with emphasis on quality banking services
• Assist the Branch Manager to achieve the designated business targets through active formulation and implementation of business plans
• Optimize workflow of the supervised business routine, so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Negotiate, coordinate and work closely with relevant internal and external parties to enhance teamwork
• Develop long-term banking relationships with customers, identify existing and prospective customers' needs of financial services,
• Handle customers’ complaints, monitor the service quality and strive for continuous improvement
• Monitor branch operation to ensure full compliance with the Bank's policies, related banking ordinances, and other regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management

Requirements

• Degree holder or above, with qualifications in IIQE & HKSI
• At least 5 years relevant experience in banking, in which at least 1 year management experience;
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge of banking operations and related policies, legal and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Proficient in MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
