Job summary

The MRC Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited in Hong Kong Science Park seeks a Biomedical Engineering Support professional to join the lab operations.

The role covers daily lab operations, safety/compliance, onsite support for preclinical studies, and staying updated on surgical robotics developments.

Qualifications include Master’s in biomedical engineering with 3+ years' experience and fluency in English, Putonghua and Cantonese; the contract is 2 years with possible renewal.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English, Putonghua and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and maintenance of MRC Lab.
• Assist safety compliance management and SOP preparation.

The appointee will report duty to the Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) with office in the Hong Kong Science Park. MRC is a company under TR at CUHK Company Limited, involves in the R&D and business in surgical robots and related medical technologies.

Job Description:

• Support daily operations and maintenance of MRC Lab
• Support safety compliance management and preparation of standard operation procedures
• Provide onsite biomedical engineering support to R&D teams during preclinical studies
• Update recent research development on surgical robotics and Medical technology-related topics.
• Contribute biomedical engineering inputs on regulatory and compliance during R&D meetings

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in biomedical engineering or related engineering disciplines
• With at least 3 years of working experience in related fields or organizations
• Good interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
• Mature, self-motivated and result-oriented
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, Putonghua and Cantonese

Salary & Benefits:

We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
