Job summary

All Star Agency is seeking an Operations Project Manager for its Hong Kong branch. You will support planning and delivery of branch-wide systems enhancements and operational projects, coordinating with local teams, overseas offices and Head Office to shape the bank's target operations and systems model.

The role suits a banking back-office professional with solid project management experience and a continuous-improvement mindset, providing training and regulatory reporting support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of back-office operations experience in banking.
• Strong project-management skills with knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Certified ScrumMaster qualification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with core banking systems or RPA is a plus; experience with Head Office/Regional Office is beneficial.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deliver on time with good negotiation with stakeholders.
• Good command of English and Chinese; proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Section Head in planning and implementing branch-wide systems enhancement projects, coordinating with departments in Hong Kong, overseas and Head Office.
• Manage project delivery, including meetings, status reports, meeting materials and minutes.
• Coordinate with other departments to prepare operations-related reports for Head Office and local authorities, and support internal procedure reviews.
• Provide operational support and training inside and outside the branch, and to other branches when necessary.
• Proactively analyze existing processes to identify and initiate improvements in quality, efficiency and productivity.
• Build effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders, and perform other duties assigned by superiors.
