Job summary

PFCC Group is seeking a Banking Operations Officer to join its Payment & Securities Transfer Operations team in Hong Kong. The role concentrates on transaction checking and processing, operational risk controls, error resolution and process improvement to ensure accurate processing in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in banking operations or transaction processing.
• Experience with payment or securities transfer transactions preferred.
• Solid understanding of risk, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with UAT or process improvement is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and process payment and securities transfer transactions, including verification, control checks and rejection of transactions requiring correction.
• Identify operational discrepancies, errors and policy breaches, providing practical guidance and solutions to Front Office teams.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and downstream operations on requirements, business initiatives, training and post-implementation reviews.
• Perform risk and control checks on transfer documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in UAT, process reviews and improvement initiatives, including workflow enhancements, automation and risk reduction.
• Prepare management information, regulatory reports and ad-hoc reporting as required.
