The Academïcs Group is expanding its coffee and bakery operations and seeks a hands-on Baker to help scale our centralized bakery production for a network of coffee shops. We welcome fresh graduates and early‑career bakers with basic to intermediate baking skills who are resourceful, adaptable and enjoy teamwork in a startup‑style environment, focused on hygiene and quality in every pastry we create.

Qualificações

• Recent graduates from culinary/baking programs or early‑career bakers (fresh graduates are welcome and highly encouraged to apply!).
• Resourceful, open‑minded, and adaptable—ready to thrive in a startup-style, growing bakery environment.
• Basic to intermediate foundational baking skills.
• Strong team player with good time management skills and a passionate, self‑starter attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Centralized Production: Daily baking and production of fresh bakery items, pastries, and artisanal baked goods to supply all group coffee shops.
• Setup & Optimization: Work with management to establish, adapt, and streamline daily operational workflows within our new kitchen/bakery setup.
• Inventory & Ordering: Assist in managing raw ingredient stock, monitoring production wastage, and maintaining high hygiene/food safety standards.
• Menu Execution: Help produce, refine, and maintain consistency for staple baked goods that pair perfectly with specialty coffee.
