Job summary

The Cakery in Hong Kong is seeking an energetic shop assistant to support daily operations, prepare and display food items, and handle customer orders. You will operate the cash register and help ensure a clean, inviting store environment.

Candidates with a background in bakery or cafe are preferred, but not required; strong communication and teamwork are essential to provide an excellent shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking.
• Excellent communication, customer service and selling skills, responsible, proactive and good team player.
• Relevant working experience at bakery or cafe is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operation issues including selling food products, food preparation and display, customer orderings, operating the cash register, opening and closing etc.
• Provide excellent customer service and shopping experience to customers.
• Assist & support to retail store marketing and promotion programs.
• Maintain the hygiene and cleanliness standard of the shop.
