Job summary

Ping An Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to perform independent assessments of credit proposals and provide clear recommendations within delegated authorities. The role supports post-loan monitoring and risk projects in a dynamic banking environment.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in finance or risk-related fields, at least 5 years in banking, and professional qualifications such as CFA/FRM.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Risk Management, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking with strong knowledge of credit risk management and analysis.
• Holder of CFA, FRM or Enhanced Competency Framework on Credit Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent assessment on credit proposals and provide recommendations or make credit decisions per delegated authorities; structured deal assessment experience is preferable.
• Assist Head of Credit Department in identification, assessment and post-loan monitoring of credit risk per the Bank's policies and HKMA guidelines.
• Support Head of Credit Department in ad hoc credit risk projects for the Bank.

Job description

Perform independent assessment on credit proposals, provide recommendations or make credit decisions according to the delegated authorities, with structured deal assessment experience is preferable；

Assist Head of CreditDepartment in the identification, assessment and post loan monitoring of credit risk according to the Bank’s credit policies and the prevailing regulatory requirements and HKMA’s guidelines；

Support Head of Credit Department in ad hoc projects of credit risk for the Bank；

University degree, preferably major in Risk Management, Finance or related discipline；

Minimum 5 years of experience in banking field with strong knowledge on credit risk management and analysis；

Holder of professional qualifications-CFA,FRMorEnhanced CompetencyFrameworkon Credit RiskManagement;

Analytical, independent, hardworking with positive working attitude；

Good knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies and standards；

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua is preferable.
