Job summary

Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an AVP, Relationship Management (Business Support & Credit Analysis) to help lead the client servicing team, ensuring high-quality service, efficient account opening and KYC/AML procedures.

You will support credit risk assessment through financial statement reviews and credit proposals, and help identify opportunities across corporate customers while maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant corporate banking operations, business support and credit analysis experience.
• Strong credit analysis and risk management skills for complex financial information.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the client servicing team to provide operational support to Relationship Managers.
• Support credit risk assessment through financial statement reviews and credit analysis.
• Assist in identifying and cultivating business opportunities across corporate clients.
• Report and elevate compliance issues to management.

AVP, Relationship Management (Business Support & Credit Analysis)

Assist in leading the client servicing team to provide comprehensive operational support to Relationship Managers in delivering high-quality customer service, including account opening and completion of KYC/AML procedures, etc.

Support credit risk assessment through financial statement reviews, credit analysis, and the preparation of credit proposals

Assist in identifying and cultivating business opportunities across new and existing corporate customers

Report and elevate compliance issues promptly for management awareness

Maintain and enhance long-term customer relationships

Perform ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned

Requirements:

Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in corporate banking operations, business support, and credit analysis

Strong credit analysis and risk management skills as well as ability to analyze and make sound judgments on complex financial information

Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure

Strong service and sales orientation with good leadership, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
