Job summary

Hong Kong Job Consulting is seeking a Credit Analyst (Assistant Manager) in Corporate Lending to join a fast-growing China-based bank in Hong Kong. You will evaluate credit proposals, prepare recommendations, and support the approvals process in line with credit policies.

You will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with business units, and monitor risk exposure, requiring strong Chinese and English communication and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines; CFP or FRM qualifications preferred.
• At least 3 years of credit approval experience in banking.
• Detailed-minded with good credit sense and strong communication in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment on credit proposals of corporate lending.
• Provide recommendations on credit applications to facilitate approvals in compliance with credit policies and guidelines.
• Perform in-depth analysis on syndication or project finance applications and assist in ongoing monitoring to mitigate risk exposure.
• Collaborate and communicate with business units to facilitate effective and efficient credit approval process.
• Assist in supervising and coaching the junior analysts to ensure their delivery of quality credit assessments.
