Qualifications

• University degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of banking experience, with at least 4 years as a Corporate Relationship Manager for mid-market clients.
• Strong credit analysis, financial statement analysis and cash flow forecasting skills.
• Solid knowledge of corporate banking products including structured lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury markets.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management: manage and grow an assigned mid-market corporate portfolio to maximise risk-adjusted returns and deepen relationships.
• Business development: proactively identify and acquire new-to-bank mid-cap corporate clients through networking, market intel, and referrals.
• Credit structuring & proposals: structure tailored facilities and present to Credit Committee with high-quality proposals.
• Annual reviews: ensure timely completion of annual credit reviews and portfolio monitoring.
• Cross-selling: collaborate with product specialists to cross-sell cash management, treasury/FX, and trade finance solutions.
• Risk management: monitor account performance and manage credit, operational and compliance risks in line with policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of middle-market corporate clients to maximize risk-adjusted returns and deepen client relationships.
• Business Development: Proactively identify and acquire new-to-bank (NTB) mid-cap corporate clients through strategic networking, market intelligence, and industry referrals.
• Credit Structuring & Proposals: Structure tailored credit facilities (e.g., bilateral loans, trade finance) based on deep analysis of clients' financial needs and risk profiles. Formulate high-quality credit proposals and present cases to the Credit Committee.
• Annual Reviews: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of annual credit reviews and portfolio monitoring.
• Cross-Selling: Collaborate with product specialists to cross-sell cash management, treasury/FX, and trade finance solutions.
• Risk Management: Monitor account performance closely and proactively manage credit, operational, and compliance risks in alignment with regulatory standards and internal bank policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: University graduate in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of banking experience, with at least 4 years specifically as a Corporate Relationship Manager handling mid-market corporate clients and a proven track record of business generation.
• Credit & Analytical Skills: Strong credit analysis skills, an analytical mindset, and proficiency in financial statement analysis and cash flow forecasting.
• Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of corporate banking products, including structured lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury markets (FX/derivatives).
• Licensing: Mandatory HKMA relevant licenses (Type 1 and Type 4).
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin is essential to handle PRC and local client portfolios).
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, paired with a self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven mindset.
