Deutsche Börse Group seeks a Senior Associate, Relationship Management to serve customers in the China & Hong Kong market, delivering high-quality service and expanding the company’s market presence in this strategic region.

The role requires 3–6 years in securities/banking, strong KYC/AML knowledge, and fluent English with Mandarin and Cantonese. Travel may be required to support institutional clients and partnerships across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 to 6 years experience in securities/banking.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML frameworks.
• Knowledge of securities settlement and corporate action.
• Experience with institutional clients.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• English proficiency with Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Manage key relationships in China & Hong Kong market, including major financial institutional clients, market infrastructure providers, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop new business opportunities and protect existing revenue streams in coordination with Clearstream’s other regional offices.
• Prepare and present proposals and product presentations to potential new customers.
• Initiate, establish and maintain excellent relationships with existing and prospective customers (banks and financial institutions).
• Monitor service levels, elevate and resolve potential operational problems to ensure high quality standards, handle customer enquiries on settlement and custody.
• Liaise with the product teams to promote Clearstream initiatives.
• Keep abreast of market updates, developments, and competitors.
• Act as the first line of defence in managing client relationships, ensuring adherence to KYC/AML and other regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage key relationships in China & Hong Kong market, including major financial institutional clients, market infrastructure providers, and relevant regulatory bodies.

Your Profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• 3 to 6 Years experience in securities / banking business, with experience in Financial Market Infrastructures custodian bank or securities services house preferred
• Strong understanding of KYC and AML frameworks and client onboarding
• Good knowledge of securities settlement and corporate action, ideally in both international and major domestic markets.
• Experience with institutional clients, good relationship with financial institutions, hands‑on customer service experience.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, customer and service oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, team player. Highly motivated and flexible.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, native‑level proficiency in Mandarin as well as an excellent command of spoken Cantonese.
• Willingness to travel as required.
