Job summary

CITIC Securities International Company Limited is seeking a Quality Control professional in Hong Kong to strengthen the Investment Banking Department (International). The role involves independent review of transaction documents and due diligence to improve execution quality for Hong Kong and overseas deals.

You will review, approve, and enhance internal QC policies, coordinate with compliance and front-office teams, and produce data-driven insights for senior management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in global investment banks, law firms or big four audit firms.
• Experience in overseas capital markets is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial products, regulations of capital markets and securities firms in Hong Kong and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain and improve internal quality control policy and framework, transaction approval process and IT systems.
• Review due diligence performed by deal teams and the underlying due diligence records.
• Review and approve various transaction documents.
• Assess regulatory and business risk of investment banking transactions and report to senior management.
• Organise and participate in internal committees considering acceptance and launch of transactions.
• Conduct research, internal statistics and ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Liaise with compliance, legal and front-office teams to ensure risk issues and process improvements are communicated and implemented.
• Prepare and present research reports, internal performance statistics, trend analyses and data-driven insights for decision-making.
• Undertake ad hoc projects such as policy updates, system enhancements, regulatory changes, or cross-department initiatives.
