Job summary

Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks a senior manager to lead agency digital engagement, driving strategic plans to boost adoption of core digital platforms and strengthen the agent experience.

The role requires a decade in digital/IT/innovation with insurance experience, strong UX, project management, and cross-functional leadership. Fluent in English and Chinese with Cantonese/Mandarin, and a proactive communicator.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in digital, IT, or innovation roles, including at least 6 years in the insurance industry, preferably in Life or General Insurance.
Strong knowledge of agency operations, distribution models, and insurance products.
Extensive knowledge of IT and digital application development, with a strong understanding of digital systems, tools, and related technical and business considerations.
Proven track record in managing digital transformation teams and driving digital innovation projects.
Strong execution capability and solid project management skills.
Creative UX mindset with the ability to design and enhance digital journeys.
Outgoing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Formulate, drive and industrialise agency digital engagement strategies to maximise agent productivity, strengthen retention and enhance the end-to-end agency experience.
Develop strategic plans to increase adoption and active usage of core agency digital platforms.
Conduct regular agency visits, supported by data analysis, to identify user needs and propose initiatives that deepen engagement and encourage wider platform usage.
Plan and deliver training programmes, promotional activities and incentive campaigns to drive adoption of new digital initiatives.
Build digital knowledge and capabilities within the Agency Department through continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies.
Collaborate with business units to gather user requirements, support user acceptance testing and develop or revamp digital platforms and solutions that enhance agent engagement.
Coordinate with agency management, external stakeholders and project managers to ensure agency requirements are clearly defined, implemented and delivered effectively.
Monitor project progress and status, elevate key agency-related issues to management and facilitate mitigation plans where required.
Maintain the stability of core agency digital platforms through effective communication, monitoring and control with IT and system developers.
Support cutting-edge technology innovation and adopt state-of-the-art AI solutions to deliver a seamless agent digital experience, improve productivity and deepen agency engagement.
Lead the implementation of agent analytics and digital solutions within the agency business unit and for regional directors.
