Job summary

Cohen & Steers is seeking an Associate Director, Desktop Technician for our Hong Kong office. You will work with the IT Infrastructure team to implement, maintain and support desktop environments globally, serving 400+ users across HK and five global offices.

You will lead desktop support activities, manage hardware and software, and coordinate with Systems and Networking teams to ensure robust IT services. Fluency in English and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology support experience in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree required; English fluency required.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work capability; effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level email, desk-side and telephone support for 400+ users across HK and global sites.
• Set up, repair and maintain hardware and software including Bloomberg, Citrix and MS Office.
• Provide technical guidance on servers, storage, networking, and related IT systems.
• Investigate and resolve application issues and daily job errors.
• Handle user requests and queries in direct liaison with customers.
• Collaborate with Systems and Networking teams to support local IT infrastructure.

Job Title: Associate Director, Desktop Technician
Department: Information Technology - Servicing
Reports To: Director, Desktop Support

Job Summary:

Cohen and Steers is currently seeking a highly motivated Desktop Technician in the IT Infrastructure department, in the HK office. The Desktop Technician will work closely with the Technology team and users to implement, maintain and support all Desktop environments globally. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Provide high level email, desk-side and telephone support resolving day-to-day technical issues for 400+ users within our Hong Kong office, 5 global offices and remote users
• Setting up, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, printers and all other peripherals) and software (Bloomberg, Citrix, MS Office and other financial software)
• Providing technical and analytical guidance as it relates to servers, storage, networking, telephones, and other IT systems
• Investigating and resolving application issues and daily job errors
• Dealing directly with customer support through user requests and queries
• Ability to work with Systems and Networking teams in a hands on capacity to assist with the support of the local IT infrastructure

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in technology support within the financial industry
• Self-motivated, creative and ability to work independently/Effective collaborator
• Skillful at troubleshooting issues, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong knowledge regarding Mobile Device Management (Intune, JAMF, etc)
• Strong knowledge and experience in MS Office 365 (Applications and Administration), AD/Group Policy, Citrix Administration, & SCCM
• Experience with scripting/automation, such as PowerShell
• Must have a bachelor's degree
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
