Job summary

Noah's Ark Hotel and Resort Limited in Ma Wan, Hong Kong, seeks a Sales Manager for MICE to drive revenue across events, catering and groups, and to strengthen partnerships with corporate clients. The role centers on growing the M.I.C.E.

business and delivering on department targets within a busy leisure and conference setting. You will respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, present to clients and conduct site inspections.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• At least 1 year’s managerial experience in events and catering.
• Experience in corporate & event catering operations.
• Knowledge of market trends and market intelligence.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Putonghua).
• Quality service mindset with strong organization and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow M.I.C.E. revenues and maximize department financial performance.
• Identify new business opportunities for groups, events, and catering.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and conduct site inspections.
• Manage assigned accounts with after-sales service and maintain long-term relationships.
• Contribute to Park selling strategy and coordinate with departments to achieve it.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Focus on growing M.I.C.E. revenues and maximizes financial performance of the department;
• Identify new business opportunities and enhance sales on groups, events and catering to achieve company’s targets;
• Respond to enquiries, work on proposals, presentation and conduct site inspection to clients in a timely and professional manner;
• Handle daily of assigned accounts including after sales service, with the expectation to maintain long-term and close relationship with customers;
• Contribute to the selling strategy of the whole Park, and communicate with concerned departments adherence to achieving that strategy.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or relevant discipline;
• At least 1 year’s managerial experience in handling event and catering of all kinds including conversion and logistics;
• Experience in corporate & event catering operations;
• Good knowledge of market trend research and market intelligence;
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Passionate for quality service, attention to details, good organization & communication and negotiation skills, good team player.

More experience will be considered as Sales Manager- MICE.
