Job summary

Sheraton & Four Points by Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung is seeking a Sales Executive to respond to group and catering opportunities and convert leads into bookings. The role involves applying brand standards, generating proposals, and coordinating with the Events department to close the best opportunities for the property.

You will leverage English proficiency and regional language skills to communicate with clients, upsell services, and maintain relationships that drive revenue while upholding

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in large-scale hotel operation or related professional area.
• Good command of written and conversational English; Mandarin and Cantonese are required.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Sales Executive.

Responsibilities

• Respond in a timely manner to incoming group/catering opportunities within predefined parameters; refer outside-parameter opportunities to the Events team.
• Ensure business booked is within hotel parameters and close the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions.
• Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business (e.g., proposals, contracts, customer correspondence) and transfer info to Events.
• Actively up-sell each opportunity to maximise revenue.
• Follow up on opportunities identified by the proactive sales team.
• Serve customers by understanding needs and recommending features and services that meet and exceed expectations while building loyalty to Marriott International.
