Cathay United Bank Company, Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking – Financial Sponsor Coverage to support Relationship Managers on new business initiatives, client management and transaction execution. You will assist with CDD/KYC, account opening, loan drawdown and reporting, while coordinating with Head Office.

The role requires multi-tasking under pressure and fluency in Mandarin and English.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Corporate Banking.
Capable to manage multi-tasks in a tight timeline and work under pressure.
Sound knowledge of account documentation, due diligence and AML regulatory requirements.
Experience in financial analysis and credit assessment will be an advantage.
Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

Provide support to Relationship Managers on new business initiatives, client management and transaction execution.
Support Relationship Managers to facilitate private equity fund deal bidding process, including the credit assessment of financial and industry analysis in credit application process.
Conduct CDD / KYC for client on-boarding and regular reviews.
Handle account opening, documentation, loan drawdown and account maintenance.
Assist with day-to-day operation and reporting responsibilities.
Work closely with Head Office, perform administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned.
