Job summary

LEE TECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an Assistant QS with a strong focus on material planning, procurement and site logistics in Hong Kong.

You will perform material take-offs from drawings, source quotes, issue purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules to keep site operations running smoothly and within budget. In this role, you will work closely with site engineers and supervisors to verify deliveries, track budgets and invoices, and maintain accurate material inventory records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience handling material take-offs, procurement, or QS support in construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with measurement tools (AutoCAD) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform material take-offs and quantity calculations from drawings and site requirements.
• Source, compare, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and track orders to delivery.
• Plan and schedule material deliveries according to construction phases and storage capacity.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to verify deliveries and report discrepancies.
