Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Co Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support site operations on our Hong Kong projects. The role involves maintaining QS records, preparing measurements, and assisting in interim payments.

Applicants should have a Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Construction, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and good written and spoken English and Chinese. An attractive salary and fringe benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update QS records, site documents, filing and drawings required for QS duties.
• Carry out measurements for ordering, subletting, variation estimates and final accounts.
• Evaluate Sub-Contractor interim payments.
• Notify and contra charge Sub-Contractor payments.
• Check and verify Sub-Contractors daywork.
• Prepare and keep up to date records and photos of variation works and abortive works.
• Assist in the preparation of interim payment applications.

Requirements

Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Quantity Surveying/Building Construction or equivalent

Sound interpersonal and communication skills

Able and willing to work under pressure and tight schedule
