Job summary

Colliers International (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a commercial real estate project management professional to join the Hong Kong team. You will contribute to the delivery and execution of assigned projects, liaising with owners, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include design management, cost estimation, tendering, procurement, on-site supervision, scheduling, risk mitigation, and financial tracking.

Qualifications

• University degree in construction related field is preferred.
• Formal training in project management or surveying is beneficial.
• Experience managing commercial real estate projects is preferred.

Due to recent growth in our business across the region, we are looking for a commercial real estate project management professional in the Hong Kong team.

How you would contribute to business:

Support the delivery and execution of the project/s assigned

Liaise with owners/clients, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other service providers

Assist the design management process from concept through construction documentation

Prepare cost estimation and manage tendering process and contract administration

Support procurement activities, manage the contracts and services for and on behalf of the owners/clients

Supervise construction works on-site and coordination of trades

Prepare and maintain project schedules

Contribute to identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, ensuring issues are promptly addressed.

Ensure proper project close-out and handover of projects to clients/owners

Assist in monitoring project financials, including tracking invoices and supporting timely payment collection from owners/clients

Other functions to be assigned by the Project Director/Team Head

Skills that help you excel in the role:

University degree holder, preferably in Construction Management, Project Management, Surveying, Architectural Studies or related discipline

Formal training in project management, quantity surveying, building surveying or interior design is preferred

1-4yearsof solid experience in running commercial real estate projects, preferablycommercial fit-out / office refurbishment / retail projects

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Project Manager

Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions.

Experienced in delivering international quality projects in distant markets using in-house or third party providers is an added value.

Proven participation in development planning and execution experience, and able to adapt these skills in a fast-paced environment requiring close interaction with clients and colleagues

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English and Chinese

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Familiar with design software, e.g. AutoCAD, Adobe Indesign, SketchUp, etc. will be an advantage
