Job summary

Shui On Construction Company Limited, a member of SOCAM Development Limited listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is seeking a senior project manager. The incumbent will plan, organize and control execution and monitor progress of multiple construction projects in line with approved cost plans and works programmes to meet schedule, quality and profitability objectives.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent in building construction with at least 15 years site management

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification relevant to building construction.
• 15+ years site management experience, with at least 5 years in project management; ASD Design & Build preferred.
• Able to lead, coordinate with team and resolve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control execution and monitor progress of construction projects.
• Ensure completion as scheduled meeting cost, quality and safety standards.

The Job:

The incumbent is responsible to plan, organize and control execution and monitor the progress of the construction project(s) in strict accordance with the approved cost plan and works programme; and to complete the project(s) as scheduled at the specified quality standards so as to achieve the Company's growth and profitability objectives and promote the company's reputation and image.

Requirements:

University degree or equivalent qualification relevant to building construction preferably with appropriate professional qualifications

At least 15 years site management experience in building construction, with a minimum 5 years’ project management experience and previous experience in ASD Design & Build Project is preferred

Sufficient experience across the broad spectrum of technology to appreciate the significance of the contributions of others and be able to identify and deal with problems effectively and efficiently

Well-developed powers of leadership and also be receptive to new ideas
