Haven of Hope Christian Service in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Manager - Information Technology to lead IT infrastructure and operations, align with organizational goals, and manage a team.

The role requires a IT degree, 6+ years of relevant experience including 2+ years in supervision; proficient in Windows Server, O365, Exchange, Linux, VMware, security and vendor management; strong English and Cantonese communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory/managerial roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, O365, Exchange, Linux, VMware, security and networking.

Responsibilities

Assistant Manager - Information Technology (Ref: SSO/IT/AM/JDB)

Responsibilities:

Report to the Senior Executive Manager – Information Technology (“SEM/IT”)

Assist SEM/IT to define IT strategies for infrastructure that support organizational goals and plans

Manage IT infrastructure resources including infrastructure and helpdesk

Supervise the IT Infrastructure Team to deliver high quality IT support service to the organisation

Manage IT procurement, service contracts and vendors

Collaborate with users of multidiscipline in various projects

Collaborate with IT Application Team to recommend and deliver solutions to the organisation

Requirements:

Degree or above in Information Technology or related discipline

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure support, with at least 2 years’ supervisory/managerial experience (Candidates with more experience / higher qualifications may be considered for the position of Executive Manager)

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2019, O365, Exchange Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, Veeam, WAN, VPN, end-point security software, IT security requirements and issues

Advanced understanding in mobile and web technology

Ability to manage vendors to deliver high quality and effective service to the organization

Proven track records for planning, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure with multiple and dispersed remote sites

Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills

Great team player, independent, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivated

Good verbal and written communications skills in English and Cantonese
