Leadingnation in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Operations Manager with a strong security and facilities background. You will oversee daily operations across multiple properties, lead a team, ensure regulatory compliance and drive service excellence.
Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, performance reporting, crisis management, inspections, and strategic support to the Operations Director. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
Manage and coordinate daily operations across multiple managed properties and facilities, ensuring service consistency and efficiency.
Supervise and develop operations staff, including scheduling, performance management, training, and mentoring.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes, body corporate requirements, and the Hong Kong Cap. 460 Security and Guarding Services Ordinance.
Monitor service delivery quality and implement corrective actions to uphold and enhance service standards.
Act as a key point of contact for building owners, residents, contractors, and other stakeholders, addressing operational issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
Manage budgets and control operational costs while maintaining service excellence and value for money.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and analyse operational reports, performance metrics, and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
Respond to emergency situations and coordinate crisis management protocols to safeguard people and property.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of managed properties to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Support the Operations Director in strategic planning, business development initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Minimum 8 years in security and guarding management, facilities management, body corporate management, or a similar operational role.
Proven track record in supervisory or management positions, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
In-depth understanding of body corporate regulations, building management standards, Cap. 460 Security and Guarding Services Ordinance, and relevant Hong Kong property and security laws.
Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong project management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the composure to perform well under pressure.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Professional qualifications in facilities management, business administration, or related fields are preferred.
A valid driving licence and own transport are desirable.
