Job summary

Henderson Land Development Co. Ltd. in Hong Kong is looking for a Security Manager to ensure office safety and lead the security team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years’ experience in office security, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.

The role involves handling emergencies, developing security strategies, and supervising the security team. Good command of English and Chinese is essential. Attractive remuneration and benefits will be offered to suitable candidates.

Job description

• Ensure office security & safety of employees, facilities and assets
• Lead and direct sub-ordinates to provide quality services with high disciplines
• Develop security strategies, review operational protocols & procedures and evaluate effectiveness
• Identify and lead team to investigate security issues e.g. crime prevention
• Manage and ensure smooth operations of security systems including access control and CCTV systems
• Supervise the office security team including provide adequate training to improve alertness, knowledge and skills
• Handle emergency incidents; compile and review security-related documents e.g. security services contracts, concurrence reports and incident reports
• Schedule duty roster; conduct routine inspection; monitor and access performance of service vendor; order security-related supplies and equipment as required
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Administration Manager

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma holder
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in office security, with at least 3 years’ managerial experience
• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit and First Aid Certificate
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficiency in PC applications
• High level of integrity and independence
• 5/6 working days per week (Alternative)
• 9 hours per day, shift duty is required
