The Assistant Manager, Supply Planning & Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day supply chain operation to ensure healthy stock availability, smooth product flow, and effective execution across stores, warehouse, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. This role focuses on replenishment, procurement planning, stock allocation, shortage management, launch and promotion readiness, and warehouse coordination to support business performance.

Supply Chain Operations and Replenishment:
- Manage day-to-day replenishment and supply planning to support sales targets, stock availability, and service levels.
- Plan regular and promotional procurement based on business demand, stock position, and commercial priorities.
- Monitor inventory levels and take timely actions to prevent stock shortages, overstock, and aging stock risks.
- Manage product shortages, stock cover, and product lifecycle-related actions in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate stock allocation across stores and channels based on trading priorities and stock availability.
- Support new launches, promotions, and seasonal activities through timely stock planning and execution.
- Coordinate stock return arrangements and related inventory actions where required.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with stores, commercial teams, warehouse, finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of supply chain activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional actions on new launches, promotional arrangements, and store allocation plans.
- Follow up on operational issues and drive timely resolution to minimize business impact.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders on stock, supply, and delivery matters.
Warehouse and Logistics Management:
- Support warehouse management and coordination to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.
- Ensure efficient stock handling and operational flow in line with business needs.
- Monitor warehouse performance against agreed KPIs and service expectations.
- Participate in warehouse operation review and enhancement initiatives to improve service, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Identify and elevate potential stock shortage, aging stock, or logistics issues in a timely manner.
- Support logistics-related cost and waste monitoring where applicable.
Performance Monitoring and Execution Support:
- Track key operational supply chain metrics and highlight risks, gaps, and execution issues.
- Prepare regular operational updates and reports to support business review and decision-making.
- Use stock and sales data to support replenishment decisions and improve operational responsiveness.
- Support ad hoc supply chain projects and business requests as needed.
We would love to hear from you if…
- You have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Supply Chain, ideally in the retail industry.
- You have hands-on experience in replenishment, procurement planning, inventory management, allocation, or warehouse coordination.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related studies; this is a plus.
- You have strong operational planning skills and are comfortable managing day-to-day supply issues in a fast-paced environment.
- You have good analytical and Excel skills.
- You are business-oriented, proactive, and able to balance commercial needs with operational constraints.
- You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
- You are able to communicate and collaborate effectively across different departments and with external partners.
- You are able to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You have good command of written and spoken English.
- You have SAP ERP experience.
