Job summary

Local Bank in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Communications & Public Relations Manager to join the Retail Banking Communications team. You will help develop and execute marketing communications campaigns for the bank's products, services and channels, including digital and events, with close collaboration across marketing, product, IT and branches.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines.
• 4–6 years in advertising/PR agencies or retail marketing; banking and financial services experience preferred.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• PR and copywriting skills and/or advertising and media planning skills preferred.
• Conversant in social media skills and promotions.
• Knowledge of print and collateral production.
• PC and Chinese typing skills are required.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and execute marketing communications campaigns for RBD's products, services, and channels, including ATL/BTL promotions, PR promotions, digital or social media marketing, POP displays, events, sponsorships.
• Coordinate with agencies and external parties on creative development, media placement, and production for branding and marketing campaigns.
• Plan and execute PR initiatives within budget, including media invitations, event coordination, drafting press releases and speeches, press kit development, and post-event follow-ups.
• Manage external vendors on production and other projects for timely, quality execution within budget.
• Liaise with product teams, Branch Management Department and IT to update branch display guidelines.
• Ensure quality execution of all assigned marketing communications initiatives within allocated budgets.
• Compile news intelligence reports and competitive news analyses.

A reputable local Bank in Hong Kong with a well-established Branch Network is looking for a Communications and Public Relations Assistant Manager to join her Communications and Public Relations Department in Retail Banking Division.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop and execute effective marketing communications campaigns for RBD's products, services, and channels, including but not limited to ATL and BTL promotions, PR promotions, digital or social media marketing, POP displays, events, sponsorships, etc.
• Coordinate with agencies and external parties on creative development, media placement, and production for branding and marketing campaigns
• Plan and execute PR initiatives within budget, including but not limited to media invitation or pitching, event run-down and coordination, drafting of press releases and speeches, press kit development, production of other related materials, post-event monitoring, and follow up, etc.
• Manage external vendors on production and other projects for accurate, timely, and quality execution and delivery within budget
• Liaise with product teams, Branch Management Department and IT, and others to update, coordinate and manage the Bank's branch display guidelines
• Ensure quality execution of all assigned marketing communications initiatives within allocated budgets
• Compile news intelligence reports and competitive news analyses
• Support and execute Group CPR needs as necessary, including PR support for CBD and DSB China, corporate events, ESG and/or CSR activities, etc.
• Support or coordinate A&P expense monitoring, invoicing consolidation, marketing calendars, as well as other routine departments administrative work as necessary

Requirements:

• Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines
• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in advertising/PR agencies or retail marketing; banking and financial services experience will be preferable
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• PR and copywriting skills and/or advertising and media planning skills preferred
• Conversant in social media skills and promotions
• Knowledge of print and collateral production
• PC and Chinese typing skills are required
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, good attention to detail, able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet a tight schedule
