Job summary

Senior Citizen Home Safety Association 長者安居協會 in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Manager (Registered Nurse) for a 1-year project to lead the Nurse Team and oversee telephone-based health assessments.

You will plan and deliver nursing services, ensure KPIs for quality and volume, and coordinate the new Proactive Protection Service, while developing health talks and coordinating referrals for service users.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Minimum 10 years of practical nursing experience in geriatric or elderly care.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory role and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Chinese and English, with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Nurse Team to ensure the effective delivery of nursing services.
• Conduct telephone-based health assessments through outbound calls to service users.
• Provide ongoing health advice and address service users' health-related enquiries.
• Ensure service delivery meets established KPIs for service quality and volume.
• Plan and implement nursing services, including the new "Proactive Protection Service".
• Initiate and coordinate special projects as required.
• Develop and deliver health talks and workshops tailored to service users' identified needs.
• Identify service users' referral needs and coordinate appropriate referrals to relevant services.

Qualification

• A valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years+ of practical nursing experience in geriatric nursing, community health or elderly care services, at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have a good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Be proficient in basic computer applications.
• May require to work in shift, weekend and public holiday; but NO Night shift is required
