Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a detail-oriented professional to perform maker/checker duties for mortgage loan and mortgage discharge documentation in compliance with the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.

You will prepare and check mortgage discharge documents for customers, ensure adherence to guidelines, and support process improvements within the team. Strong English and Chinese communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or above.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mortgage discharge and/or other security release documentation.
• Good knowledge on Companies Ordinance and legal requirements for perfection of loan documentation.
• Good knowledge of retail banking products.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Prudent and attentive to details.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Prepare / check mortgage loan and mortgage discharge documentation within the agreed service pledge;
• Prepare / check Mortgage discharge to all PBG and WBG customers;
• Ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance of the Bank's policy;
• Report all process deviations to supervisor with recommendations;
• Participate in projects on development of new products, automation / enhancement of related systems and enhance customer experience;
• Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.
