Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree holders in Business Administration or related disciplines preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in loan documentation and operations preferred.
• Good knowledge of legal requirements for mortgage business and perfection of loan documentation.
• Good knowledge and concepts in accounting principles and mortgage products.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Prudent and attentive to details.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Perform Checker role for Mortgage business, including documentation preparation & vetting, loan operation, title deeds and documents checking and mortgage discharge.
• Ensure all services are delivered within the agreed service pledge.
• Ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance with Bank’s policy.
• Report all process deviations to Supervisor with recommendations.
• Identify improvement opportunities / operation risk of existing workflow.
• Participate in projects on development of new products, automation / enhancement of related systems and customer experience.
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff.
• Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by Supervisor from time to time.
