Job summary

Haven of Hope Christian Service is seeking a Temp Business Analyst to support IT project management and requirement analysis. The role involves collecting user requirements for both outsourced and in-house projects, documenting business workflows, and ensuring thorough UAT and testing across the project lifecycle.

The candidate will collaborate with IT teams, extract data for analytical reports, and craft functional specs for system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Business Administration or Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in project management and SDLC with end-user interaction
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, SQL, SharePoint, Excel and Google Form
• Strong independent working, critical thinking and project management skills
• Proficient in English and Chinese (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in IT project management
• Collect and analyze user requirements for outsourced and in-housed IT projects
• Formulate and document business flows and processes
• Follow through all stages of the project management lifecycle
• Create functional specifications for system enhancements and new development
• Develop test plans and conduct system UAT
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure team on projects and daily operations
• Extract data from databases and generate analytical reports for management decisions

Responsibilities:

Assist supervisor in IT project management

Collect and analyze user requirement for both outsourced and in-housed IT projects

Formulate and document business flows and process

Proactively follow through every stage of project management lifecycle

Create functional specifications for system enhancement and new development

Develop test plan and conduct system UAT

Collaborate with IT infrastructure team in projects and daily operations

Extract data from database and generate analytical reports to assist management decision

Requirements:

Diploma or above in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline

Minimum 3 year’s relevant experience

Experience in project management, system development lifecycle and direct interaction with end user

Proficiency in PowerPoint, SQL, SharePoint, Excel and Google Form

Ability to work independently and think critically

Customer-oriented, good presentation, communication, problem solving, analytical and project management skills

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
