Job summary

The Hong Kong Tourism Board is seeking a passionate individual for a Training and Development role. The successful candidate will support the Senior Manager in designing and delivering learning initiatives while coordinating the Internship Programme. A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in training or HR. Proficiency in English and Cantonese is essential, with Mandarin preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Learning & Development
  • Support the Senior Manager in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development initiatives that enhance employee capability, strengthen engagement, and improve organisational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate training needs analysis, assist in planning the annual learning calendar and support budgeting processes.
  • Manage day-to-day training administration, including enrolment, logistics, vendor coordination, attendance tracking and record management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.
  • Ensure all L&D processes comply with internal policies, audit requirements and data accuracy standards.
Internship Programmes
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Internship Programme, including recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Liaise with universities, institutes and external partners to support attraction, selection and engagement of high-potential early-career talents.
  • Provide data, insights and recommendations to enhance programme structure, learning journeys and assessment mechanisms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with training vendors, consultants, academic institutions and external partners.
  • Support procurement processes, including sourcing, proposal evaluation and contract administration.
  • Engage internal departments to ensure learning solutions meet operational needs.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • University graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in training, learning & development, or HR business partnering.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and digital learning tools.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese), with conversational Mandarin preferred.
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for Manager position.
