VEA in Hong Kong seeks an experienced supervisor/manager to lead guest experience and staff in a refined dining environment. You will oversee front-of-house operations, mentor servers and hosts, and support the restaurant manager in daily tasks to ensure excellence.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in fine dining, strong leadership, and fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with immediate availability preferred for a seamless start.

We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy working in a refined restaurant environment with an open kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience:
• Ensure guests receive outstanding service and have memorable dining experiences.
• Address customer feedback and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff.
• Schedule shifts and manage team performance to maintain high productivity and morale.
• Operations Management:
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Financial Oversight:
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in monitoring budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with vendors.
• Quality Assurance:
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining high standards of food presentation and service.
• Collaborate with chefs to plan and update menus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same role within a fine dining restaurant setting is required, lesser experience will be considered as Supervisor.
• Good Supervisory and leadership skills, and able to monitor all juniors and casual workers.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work within a team.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving and ability to handle complaints and comments.
• Hong Kong resident only.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
