Job summary

John Swire & Sons (HK) Limited in Quarry Bay, HK, is seeking a Manager, Human Resources (Rewards & Systems) to oversee HR functions, including rewards, HRIS, and payroll governance, and to support overseas teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR, 5+ years HR experience, Mandarin and English fluency, and a passion for people, with a focus on compliance, system implementation, and delivering a positive employee experience in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience covering the full HR spectrum.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
• Hands-on HRIS experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all-round HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, payroll administration and employee relations.
• Provide HR support to overseas teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with headquarters’ policies.
• Support performance management processes and coordinate training and development initiatives.
• Assist in implementing HR policies and ensure adherence to labour laws and company standards.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate timely HR reports.
• Contribute to new HR system implementation projects.

Job Requirements

Hands-on experience with HRIS or involvement in HR system implementation is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices.

Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and promote inclusivity.

Passionate about people and committed to creating a positive employee experience.

Regional HR experience will be considered an advantage.
