You will lead the HR Operations team, maintain employee records, deliver regulatory reports, manage hiring cycles, and support workforce planning and organizational design across local operations.
We are seeking a hands‑on driven and strategic Assistant Manager to oversee our end-to-end payroll operations and lead HR operations. In this role, you will ensure seamless operational compliance and accuracy while actively shaping our long‑term workforce capabilities through employee development, succession planning, and workforce analytics.
Manage the end-to-end local payroll process, including statutory deductions, tax filings, final settlements, commissions, referrals, and other ad‑hoc payments. Verify and approve regional payroll submissions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursements.
Process local claims, government-paid leave schemes, NSman Make‑Up Pay claims, corporate grants, and statutory submissions. Conduct leave audits and ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, tax guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Advise management on employee relations matters, grievances, disciplinary procedures, and workplace issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling in line with company policies and legislation.
Lead the HR Operations team, maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, prepare regulatory reports, and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
Support management in workforce planning, headcount forecasting, organizational design, and succession planning to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
Manage the full hiring cycle, including manpower planning, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, selection, offer management, pre‑employment checks, and onboarding.
Prepare and manage necessary documentation for specific hiring initiatives, such as
Career Conversion Programs and project‑based roles, handling all follow‑up emails and progress updates.
Conduct internal audits and process reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements, while supporting HR improvement initiatives and other duties assigned by management.
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5-8 years of hands‑on HR full spectrum experience
Strong knowledge of local payroll, employment legislation, statutory requirements, and HR compliance.
Knowledge of InfoTech will be an advantage.
Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, recruitment platforms, and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading or mentoring an HR team.
High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Regional HR or multi‑country payroll experience is an advantage.
