Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English and Chinese; Japanese is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with cross-department collaboration.

We are a food processing and trading group with operations spanning Hong Kong and Japan. To support our business expansion, we are seeking a qualified accounting professional to specialize in consolidation accounts, general ledger management, and month-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare consolidated financial statements for group entities in compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS)
• Manage general ledger (GL) operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Assist month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions for consolidation
• Manage daily accounts receivable (AR) operations, including invoicing, posting, follow-up, and reconciliation
• Implement credit control policies, monitor customer credit limits and payment status, and mitigate credit risk
• Follow up on overdue accounts and collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely collections
• Perform other ad hoc duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Qualified Accountant under HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent, a student member also considerable
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in consolidation accounting, general ledger, or financial reporting; experience in group companies or trading industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and consolidation principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Japanese is an advantage
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external parties
