Job summary

Shun Tak Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced professional to oversee E&M design review, shop drawings and supervision of E&M construction. The role requires leading testing/commissioning procedures, contract reviews, and value management for large-scale building services projects.

Candidates should hold a degree in mechanical or building services engineering, be HKIE/CIBSE/IMechE qualified, and bring 5+ years of relevant experience, including familiarity with high-end hotel

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services engineering or related.
• HKIE/CIBSE/IMechE membership or equivalent.
• 5+ years of design and installation management for large-scale building services.
• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua).
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Able to work under pressure; frequent travel may be required.

Job description

This position is responsible for reviewing E&M engineering design, shop drawing / sample submission and supervision of E&M construction work.

Job Duties:

Outline and manage the procedures for testing and commissioning;

Check generic specification, base systems and material requirement;

Review and monitor the contracts of building services installation;

Coordinate and take part in value management and buildability studies;

Requirements:

Holder of Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines;

Member of HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE or equivalent;

At least 5 years' relevant working experience in managing design and Installation of building services for large-scale projects while experience in 5-star Hotel is an advantage;

Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua;

Effective interpersonal and project management skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills;

Able to work under pressure;

Frequent travel may be necessary.
