Job summary

Tai Sang Land Development Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a capable Electrical/Mechanical Building Services Engineer to manage project cycles for maintenance, renovation, and A&A works on-site. You will oversee E&M design, tender preparation, contract administration, and monitor contractors to ensure high workmanship and timely progress.

English and Chinese language skills are essential, with AutoCAD proficiency and local regulations knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in construction projects; solid Electrical & HVAC exposure.
• Registered Electrical Worker License A or B is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; good computer skills including AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Handle the entire project cycle for building maintenance, repair, renovation, fitting-out and A&A works.
• Oversee E&M design, tender preparation, contract admin and terms & conditions.
• Monitor on-site contractors for quality and progress ensuring standard workmanship.
• Conduct feasibility studies to align with marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with EMO to provide technical support when needed.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as directed by Department Head.

Job description

Handle the whole project cycle for building maintenance, repair, renovation, fitting-out and A&A work

Handle E&M system including design, preparation of tender document, contract administration and T&C

Monitor the contractors on site, work quality and progress of works to ensure the standard workmanship and output

Conduct feasibility studies on proposed works to cope with marketing strategies

Assist and work with EMO to provide technical supports whenever necessary

Handle any ad hoc tasks as directed by Department Head time to time

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or related disciplines

3 years or above relevant experience in construction project, solid experience in Electrical & HVAC

Registered Electrical Worker License “A” or “B” Holder will be an advantage

Proficiency in speaking and writing English and Chinese

Good computer skill and familiar with AutoCAD

Well versed with Local Regulations (I.E. EMSD/ FSD/ Minor Works System)

Solid experience in handling large scale A&A works and engineering projects
