MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is seeking an experienced professional to support corporate safety, quality and environment governance strategies. The role focuses on implementing frameworks, monitoring performance, and advising Business Units on governance matters.

You will coordinate health and safety programmes, drive digital solutions for reporting, and lead cross-functional efforts to promote best practices and continuous improvement across the Corporation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety / Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: recognized qualifications in Safety, Quality Management, Auditing, or related disciplines; RSO and/or RSA; Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/45001).
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality management systems, assurance methodologies, and governance frameworks.

• Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the corporate safety, quality and environment governance strategies, frameworks, and improvement initiatives
• Manage and coordinate corporate health and safety programmes, standards, guidance materials, performance monitoring and related governance activities
• Plan and coordinate corporate safety, quality and environment promotion, engagement, communication, and competencies development initiatives
• Support corporate safety, quality and environment assurance activities and provide professional support and advice to Business Units, Corporate Functions, subsidiaries and other stakeholders on related management and governance matters
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing, best practice, and continuous improvement across the Corporation
• Support the development and implementation of digital solutions and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, reporting, and analytics

Requirements

• Degree in Safety / Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Possession of the following professional qualification(s) is/are preferred:
  • Recognized professional qualifications in Safety, Quality Management, Auditing, or related disciplines
  • Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and/or Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) qualifications
  • Professional Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 or 45001)
• Sound knowledge of safety and quality management systems, assurance methodologies, and governance frameworks
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
• Self-motivated and proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Experience in digitalisation, process automation, AI applications, or data analytics is an advantage
