Job summary

Sanbase Interior Contracting Limited is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to lead site safety management for ongoing projects in Hong Kong. The role involves enforcing safety policies, preparing plans and reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

You will identify training needs, conduct sessions, and investigate incidents while supporting ISO9001/14001/45001 audits. A strong communicator with MS Office skills and a valid Green Card is preferred.

Qualifications

• HD / Degree holder in Occupational Safety & Health or an equivalent discipline.
• A Registered Safety Officer (RSO) of the Labour Department.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration site experience.
• Experience in fitting-out / renovation / A&A projects is a distinct advantage.

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety walks.
• Oversee all site safety matters within the contract, and prepare safety policies, detailed procedures, and requirements in compliance with local health & safety regulations.
• Prepare safety plans, monthly reports, and other required documentation.

Requirements :

Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently with a high sense of responsibility

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient on MS Office and Chinese Word Processing

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Holder of valid Green Card and First-Aid Certificate is required

Conversant with ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001

Sunday or Public Holiday shift may be required based on project needs (with compensatory leave)
