Job summary

Cooley LLP's Technology department seeks an Office Technology Specialist (Asia) to deliver high-quality desktop and device support across the Hong Kong office. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity, handle on-site deployments, and collaborate with HR/Facilities for ergonomic equipment and office moves.

Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant tech experience, strong English and Mandarin skills, and a background in Windows environments with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years applicable and relevant technical experience.
• Proficient in Windows OS (Windows 11) and MS Office (2016+).
• Strong English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Create and resolve tickets for hardware, software, telephone and peripheral problems.
• Escalate problems to senior technicians when needed.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and workstation setup.
• Install and configure desktop, laptop and telephone equipment.
• Setup and maintain PC peripherals (printers, scanners, mobile devices).
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity for internal and external users.
• Coordinate hardware/software repairs with vendors.
• Assist with ergonomic equipment requests and workstation assessments.
• Participate in pilot groups and QA of system builds and updates.
• Manage inventory data for hardware and software moves and changes.
