Job summary

Ambition is seeking a skilled production support engineer in Hong Kong to ensure high availability of securities, stock options, and futures trading systems. You will troubleshoot incidents, monitor performance, and coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver timely resolutions.

The role requires 6+ years of experience in capital markets tech, strong Java/J2EE, SQL, and DB2 skills, plus fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience supporting securities, equities, stock options, futures, or capital markets trading systems.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience for web and mobile applications.
• Solid knowledge of Java, J2EE, SQL, APIs, scripting languages, Linux/Unix, and DB2 databases.
• Understanding of IIS, WAS, load balancers, SSL certificate management, and database systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects and enhancement initiatives, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth implementation with minimal business disruption.
