Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch seeks an AVP for IB Operations & Controls in the O&A Equity Distribution APAC Middle Office. The role focuses on cash equity trading, client query management during Asia market hours and ECM IPO activities, integrating frontline trading with robust controls.

We expect at least six years in Cash Equities, ECM exposure in APAC, and a proactive, independent work style capable of meeting tight deadlines while leveraging AI tools to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in handling Cash Equities.
• Experience with ECM and Cash Equity APAC markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Daily trade capture, query handling, static setup and monitoring of trade lifecycles.
• Trade allocation post-execution and client amendments.
• Manual allocations for give-up trades and swaps.
• Manage trade exceptions and error resolution.
• Client sub-account/extension setup and onboarding support.
• Support ECM activities including IPOs and secondary offerings.
• Investigate and resolve exceptions; reinforce reconciliation and control.
