Deutsche Bank AG in Hong Kong seeks a Vice President to lead IBCM Compliance APAC, advising on regulatory matters, overseeing control implementations, and partnering with regional and global teams. The role requires deep ECM knowledge, strong communication, and autonomous execution in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in banking with debt/equity markets exposure in APAC, and a solid track record in compliance leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of banking industry experience with significant exposure to both Debt and Equity Capital Markets across Asia Pacific.
• Deep knowledge and experience in a Business Line Compliance or at a regulatory body in ECM transaction, which is a fast‑growing team, is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge in Equities and Research is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Independently provide compliance and regulatory advice to IBCM on transactions, new product approvals, and day‑to‑day matters; escalate issues to senior leadership.
• Evaluate compliance with rules and regulations; identify emerging risks and drive control implementations to protect the Bank’s reputation.
• Assess business processes, new initiatives, and product/transaction approvals from a regulatory perspective.
