Deutsche Bank is seeking an experienced Cash Equities Operations professional to support a new trading desk in Asia. The role focuses on cash equity trading activities, client query management during Asia market hours, and ECM IPO-related tasks.

You will handle daily trade capture, allocations, and lifecycle monitoring, while ensuring accurate reconciliation and control. A background in ECM and APAC markets, plus strong communication skills, is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in handling Cash Equities.
• Experience and knowledge of ECM and Cash Equity APAC markets.
• Self-motivated to work independently and across teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and attention to details.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows and ensure responsible data use.

Responsibilities

• Daily trade capture, query handling, static setup, and monitoring of trade life cycles, including corporate actions.
• Trade allocation post-execution, including trader/sales instructions and client amendments.
• Manual allocations for give-up trades and swaps.
• Managing trade exceptions, including error trade resolution.
• Client sub-account/extension setup, assist client onboarding activities.
• Support ECM activities, including Primary/IPO offerings and Secondary transactions such as block trades and placements.
• Exception management, including operations, client and IT-related issues.
• Reconciliation and control, with investigation and resolution.

Operations is responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals. Operations set the direction and manage performance to bank targets with a focus on continual performance improvement. Work includes:

• Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation
• Utilising comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
• Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk
• Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions
• Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls
