Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong seeks a Vice President for IBCM Compliance APAC to provide regulatory guidance on capital markets transactions and ongoing compliance programs. You will evaluate regulatory changes, develop controls, and partner with regional teams to protect the bank’s licenses and reputation.

The role requires extensive APAC compliance experience, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• University degree; professional compliance or legal qualifications are an advantage.
• Knowledge of banking rules and cross-border regulations is preferred.
• Experience in IBCM or ECM regulatory coverage in APAC is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and compliance advice to IBCM on transactions and approvals.
• Assess regulatory changes and design control mechanisms to protect the bank’s reputation.
• Own regulatory reviews of new initiatives and product approvals.
• Collaborate with regional/global Compliance, Legal and Business Management teams.
• Represent Compliance in internal meetings and regulatory interactions.
• Lead in monitoring activities and coordinate remediation actions where needed.
