Job summary

BMLL Technologies is seeking an accomplished APAC Sales Lead to accelerate revenue growth with Sell Side Banks, Hedge Funds and Proprietary Trading desks in Hong Kong and wider APAC.

In this quota-bearing role you will manage a dynamic pipeline, lead complex enterprise sales cycles, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to align data solutions with client needs while representing the company across the capital markets community.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a proven track record of generating significant new business revenue through sales hunter.
• Strong APAC Sell side, Hedge Fund & Prop Trading network.
• Experience in structuring, driving, negotiating, and closing large ticket size contracts (> $250k - $1m ACV).
• Industry knowledge of market microstructure and order book dynamics.
• Familiarity with cloud data delivery (AWS S3) and data formats (Parquet, CSV).
• Knowledge of hedge fund structures and trading strategies.
• Strong networking and senior stakeholder management.
• Ability to deliver pitches and technology demonstrations.
• Collaborative with clients and internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new clients and manage a pipeline of new accounts
• Acquire new clients, negotiate, and sell the BMLL vision to all new clients
• Generate a pipeline and manage leads from lead generation to contract execution
• Lead complex, technical sales cycles with Heads of Quantitative Research, Quant PMs, CTOs, Heads of Market Data, and Execution desks
• Conduct detailed research and analysis of prospective clients to understand their requirements and align the BMLL solution suite accordingly
• Relay prospective client feedback to the Product Team to ensure that development is in line with their needs
