Job summary

CMG (Capital Markets Gateway) is seeking a Hong Kong-based Account Executive to lead our APAC buy-side expansion for the U.S.-based business. You will shape CMG’s regional commercial strategy, build strategic client relationships, and close flagship deals with top-tier institutional investors.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to deliver tailored solutions, exceed revenue targets, and scale CMG’s presence in the ECM ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of proven success closing complex multi-stakeholder deals in fintech, SaaS, or capital markets data/analytics.
• Familiarity with equity capital markets (ECM) workflows, trading strategies, and research processes.
• Full-cycle sales experience from prospecting to negotiation and close.
• Strong communication and presentation skills tailored to senior audiences (heads of trading, research teams, data/compliance).
• Ability to operate in high-velocity environments with prioritization under pressure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new buy-side client relationships in APAC, expanding existing ones into global partnerships.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior decision-makers to elevate CMG’s visibility.
• Collaborate with Head of Buyside Sales (NY) to create and execute tailored account strategies.
• Uncover white-space and upsell opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions teams to ensure seamless client experiences and drive adoption.
